Just get on the basket or talk to him to go down into the Shadowlands. His name is Dern, and it seems like he wants trouble with you. Examine it and it will tell you of an ancient beast that can be lured out of its lair, if you know how to do so. The reality however is that it doesn't matter in any case as you are forced into his side quest in order to proceed. Attack him and get him close to death, and when you do, he will again speak to you. With Jolee and one other character as part of your team head to the eastern part of the Upper Shadowlands where you’ll find the Czerka Walk forward once you're in the Lower Shadowlands. The Sith and the Vulkars both have bases on this planet. From there, continue further along the path, bobbing and weaving through mines and the like. I'm sure this works the same for the dark side. Melee him, which will make quick work of the ancient foe, and you'll automatically examine his body, grabbing a hilt-less sword from the beast's side. access to the Star Map, however if not you will be asked as series of questions that both reveal and affect your alignment. If you are following my walkthrough then you already have this sword. Again debilitate your enemies wherever possilble, especially for those builds that are built to do sneak attacks. If one accuses the other, then the accused gets 5 years and the other gets none. Once there he will have a request for you: remove the poachers. From where you are, you'll need to head back to where the Czerka camp was. There are a couple of mines near the Star Map so watch out once you get close. His location is completely random, but the father of Zaalbar and Chuundar, Freyyr, is located here somewhere. When you talk to Jolee after killing off (or doing whatever it is you decided to do) to those Czerka hunters that were bothering him, he'll be mad at you for killing off the hunters (because Czerka will think the Wookiees were responsible), but whatever - you did what he asked, and he'll show you where the Star Map is now. He asks you to help hunt the rest of the foes that killed his friends down, and he'll reward you in return. Go over and find three Swoops there. The Czerka won't attack on sight, but you can easily provoke them into one if you wish, for LSP or DSP depending on how you go about it. If you betrayed Chuundar, he won't take you up on the elevator but choose to fight you instead. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, simply known as Knights of the Old Republic or KotOR, is a roleplaying game made originally for the Microsoft Xbox and PC in 2003, and later released for Mac. And the catch is, as you'll learn, that they will not attack you unless your unarmed. Even if this is true, melee weapons (especially lightsabers) work wonders against him. Go to this vine and hang a Viper Kinrath body from it. This particular computer wants you to answer four of its questions, and it wants the answers as evil and Sith-like as humanly possible. Level 12 ~ 14: Medium Easy. It is four thousand years before the Galactic Empire and hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle against the ruthless sith. Talk to the Star Map computer for information and to gain access to the Map. C'est la vie. While there are some exceptions, choices that are kind, selfless, or honorable will earn you light side points, while choices that are selfish, aggressive, or illegal will earn you dark side points. For the sake of this walkthrough, you should tell Zaalbar to side with his father, Freyyr, which is the Light Side result, but will free the Wookiees of being bound to slavery by Chuundar's ways. You can avoid trouble with him (and even work with him if you want to make some money... just be nice to him and tell him you're interested in work to find out how), or you can kill him and his guards. The kinrath only attack in small groups at lower levels and are easy to handle. Just give him one of the false swords. Now that you are here in the Lower Shadowlands you can finally complete the remaining side-quests available on Kashyyyk. Dark Side points, and you get to fight him for even more XP. The computer has what it calls a limited field of knowledge and can only answer some of your questions. He'll talk to you a bit, tell you this and that, and ask you to find the sacred sword that was lost in the back of the Ritual Beast. Then use the elevator yourself and head back to the treetops. Head east to the Great Walkway and proceed forward. Then give the Notched Steel Sword to Uthar for some prestige. Usually I do Kashyyyk second right after Tatooine. However the Katarn are a bit more difficult. Other than that, Freyyr will give Zaalbar the sacred sword upon request (which means he will one day lead the people of Rwookrrorro). As you walk around the Lower Shadowlands like this, two groups of Mandalorians (one group of three and one group of four) will attack you. His name is Grrrwahrr and he's dying. Follow him to his Yoda Dagobah-like home. The prisoner's gambit, pitting you against Zaalbar. After this Jolee will still not "sense the smell of death" on you despite the fact that you killed most of them off. You may want to unequip Zaalbar of all of his stuff before doing this as he will remain unavailable until you finish the Chieftain in Need side-quest. Walk forward once you're in the Lower Shadowlands. Once these guys are taken care of or if you didn't meet them here continue forward, fighting the Katarn as you go and you will meet Jolee. You want to work your way along the eastern side of the Lower Shadowlands now. Besides the reduction of force points for light side skills and such, there does not seem to be any sort of reward otherwise. When you do and you hang up the Viper Kinrath body, the Ritual Beast that the marker told about appears. Search all three boxes to find a total of: 5 Parts, Motion Detection Goggles, a Repair Kit, an Advanced Medpac, 3 Tach Glands, aDisruptor Rifle, a Concussion Grenade, a Light Repeating Blaster, a Beam Splitter and Echani Light Armor. Consulars: Since this area can get rather crowded, at high levels Consulars will have a cake walk here. That doesn't mean however that it is the easiest. Kashyyyk Star Map. If you don't have any Viper Kinrath bodies, go around the Lower Shadowlands and kill a few until you can search one of their remains and grab the entire body. Welcome to the Lower Shadowlands. When he does, you have the option to kill him off or to help him. Melee and Attack builds: The melee builds do quite well here, but care must be taken not to bite off more than you can chew. Turn off two emitters and trigger a cut-scene where the poachers are chased off by the Ritual Beast. Inside you'll find a merchant that buys Wraid Plates, a selection of local hunters and a Pazaak Shark. If it is just cast force valor and you should be fine. It's not exactly a clearing (it looks like the rest of the forest) but it opens up and some significant sunlights gets through, so it's more for lack of a better term. He's powerful, as are his companions, so this battle will be a fairly tough one. With that in hand, Jolee suggests we head back up to the treetops. It judges potential seekers of the Star Map based on that person's personality. When they fall, dead, search their bodies for some goods and talk to the Wookiee. The incorrect answer here does nothing. You can still proceed with the evaluation but you won't get any LSP for the good answer. Once there are no guards left Commander Dern will leave. Accept the Wookiee's offer and before you know it, you'll find yourself in the throne room at Rwookrrorro. You get DSP for each guard you persuade to leave.
